Long Ride: 20 August 2011

Three Peaks Part II (Greenhill, Old Freeway, Norton Summit)

Ok guys this week we have a seriously tough ride - with no coffee stops. This ride will build on all the great work you have been doing for the last 12 weeks or so - and it will test you out. What we are going to do is start with a climb up Greehill Rd and then come back around and down Norton Summit. From there we are going to make our way down to Port Rush Rd and head up the Old Freeway to the bollards and on to Crafers. We'll then make our way down Greenhill Rd and head back towards Magil Rd. We'll then tackle the final climb for the day - a time trial up Norton Summit. Once we're done, we'll make our way home via the same route as last week. All up, about 106km. It's going to take a while to knock these kms off - so be prepared to get home a little later than normal. Probably take abut 4.5 hours.

See you at my house at 7.30am - don' forget next week we are leaving from Gawler.
